Showalter Property Consultants is credentialed and licensed by the FAA to fly drones commercially and to offer UAV services including structural and roof Inspections. We utilize state-of-the art  drone and UAV equipment. We can provide high-quality still photos or HD or 4K video.

Thermal Drone Usage

  • Low-Sloped Roofs: To identify leaks and moisture intrusion in large low-sloped roofs
  • Solar Panels: Inspect solar panel arrays for functionality, shorts, overheating, and other damage. We typically follow the IEC 62446-1, which is an international standard for testing, documenting, and maintaining grid-connected photovoltaic systems. It sets standards for how system designers and installers of grid-connected PV systems. 
  • New Roof Commissioning: Commissioning new roofs for a baseline and routine annual monitoring and evaluation.
  • Window Seals: Inspect windows for failing thermal pane seals under the window warranty period.
  • Steam: We can help to locate underground areas of leaks from steam lines with the thermal drone.
  • Facade and Building Envelope Inspections: We can identify areas of heat loss and potential moisture intrusion in the exterior of the building.
  • Mapping: We can deliver a high quality and detailed map of your land or building.
